I believe that life itself is made up of choices. I don't believe in Kismet, Karma, Fate or Destiny per se. I believe that you are what you are,is entirely dependent upon the choices you have made throughout your lifetime.
Decisions come to us on a daily basis, normally. Whatever we decide is going to take us down that path. There may be other decisions that allow us to get back onto the "right" path, if we decide to take them. Or, we can continue to do what we're doing because it feels good. Our choice.
We are granted the blessing to choose our course in life. Whether we choose not to believe in the lives of others or not, it is still a choice. At the end of our lives, I believe we all face a judgement on the choices we have made.
So, I guess the best course of action would be to live our lives from day to day and take careful consideration of the decisions that come upon us.
Some do not believe in a higher being. Okay, that's their choice. I happen to believe it. My choice. But, what if there is a higher being and he/she has a judgement day? Would we be ready? And if there isn't, why worry about it. I tend to think it best to slow down and make the most prudent decision possible as it comes upon me. That way, I should be ready for whatever happens.
