Well the Cable Guy has been and swapped out the box for a new one. Apparantly the new box model (same as the one that it replaced) was supposed to have the particular fault fixed... well apparently not. Anyway, everything is back up and running so I am happy about that... but why did I bother rushing home for 16:00 when the guy did not turn up till after 18:00???

Well Virgin has screwed up again... Got no TV what so ever till Tuesday thanks to the fact the idiots can not get a new TV box out to me (with an engineer attached) till then! Why they simply cant courier out a new box with installation instructions and have the courier collect the FUBARed box god only knows. Oh well... at least my computer, the internet, and phone are still working.

Well peeps, this Geek has gone and done it... I have booked myself into a Health Spa for a couple of days, should be an interesting experience if nothing else. Just will have to remember to take a good book with me.... just in case :)

Well with my birthday barely 4 weeks away and feeling in need of a real holiday I am thinking of a short holiday somewhere away from it all... One of the thoughts is a couple of days at a Health Spa, but part of me thinks it might be a bit too boring...

This computer Geek has spent the past weekend away from the computer and with friends... no computer talk... just walking, talking, having fun, enjoying company, and maybe watching a DVD. This weekend I saw the movie "Stranger than Fiction" and thought it was funny as hell, but it did make me think about what I have been missing in life and what I can do to change it. So now with a sense of purpose and renewed zeal I am setting out to enjoy life with a new view on it. Feeling more optomistic and more enthusiastic about life and what it has to offer...
