I had to do this the reasons I wish you knew
My life fell apart and I couldn’t put it back to together
It got too much for me to bare
Yes I gave up but no I never gave up on caring
I had to go I had to get out of this lifetime of pain
Now I will never have to put up with the hurt again

I’m happier now
I don’t have to put up with the sadness anymore
a release a escape a freedom I sore
I took the easy way out i know I didn’t have the strength to fight
No more tears to run down my cheek
no more tears to cloud my sight
I tried to ask for help but nobody listened
My past was too much I said sorry and asked to be forgiven
I didn’t do this for anyone else, I did it for myself
I’m no longer alone, remember me with a smile
I’m happier now
