Let Freedom Ring
I sit and look up at the stars...
Knowing we've put a man on the moon
Pondering on what the future brings
Watching the unemployment rate
As it climbs at an ungodly pace
What will become of the human race?
A new president to behold,
With promises to be fortold.
Will they crumble or hold?
What will become of this great land
Immigrants asking for a hand
Poverty throughout our land
Jobs and money sought and lost
Social Security gone at such great cost.
Where there is a will there is a way
But must a Whole Nation pay?
Don't We The People have a say?
Our Government is running amuck
Doesn't seem to stop at the almighty green buck
I say we out to stand as one and tell our government enough is enough.
Lets take the stand and put back into play
Our Hopes and Dreams and tell the government they are here to stay.
For thats the true American Way.
Let Freedom Ring loud and clear
And In God We Trust let it be sheer.
Bold,Strong, and True
As Our Forefather's once knew.
Let Freedom Ring loud and clear
We're One Nation Strong and Bold
For All Mankind to Behold.
