Longing To Love Again
Somewhere in the distant past we met and fell in love. Our two worlds came together as one and now venturing into our future where we have no knowledge of a love when once shared. You held my heart within yours and loved me as one fearing to be alone.
I found a sense of tranquility within your tender words yet I did not see the fear we both had of falling in love.We have both struggled with our past and tried making our lives whole again, each afraid of letting someone in to our hearts.
We both have loved before, and have felt its joys and pains. Many a nights we have cried and spoken of what was once, of what could be, not knowing if this love was meant to be.
Yearning for each others love is what kept us sane in a world which insanity has claimed many and has destroyed so many hearts.
Some say we die a little death each time our heart break awaiting for its re birth with each new love. I should gladly die a small death knowing that one day I shall find love once again.
