| i have a washing machine that stays on after it's finished washing the clothes. there's a load in there that needs to be moved to the dryer. but it's almost 10pm, it's dark, the washer is in the unfished basement where lots of creepy crawlies live, and i don't want to go down there and turn it off. i also don't want to expend more carbon dioxide by leaving the appliance on all night because it's bad for the environment. so should i go down and turn it off, or leave it on all night and not worry about it? |
