I write some poetry & blogs [erotic & not], which I will put up from time to time. I hope to post something that appeals to pretty much every taste, but know that is impossible. Mostly, I write for my own pleasure. I currently have up only one poem & a few blogs but will add to them when I take a notion to. I'll be published before long.

A little about me & my life-I have 2 beautiful granddaughters, a new grandson, a cat named 'What' and a kitten named 'Artemis' aka 'Tee'. I love my family & friends & will give you the shoes off my feet, just don't cross me or I can get very nasty right back at ya! (Cant help it being that way, its my DNA!) I'm basically easy to get along with but do not like gossip or troublemakers. I enjoy swimming & sunning, camping, canoeing, hiking, freehand climbing, romantic picnics, gardening, travel, slow dancing with Paul, cooking, music, arts, books & knowledge, riding on the back of Paul's Harley pressed up against him, snuggling him anywhere & everywhere.
I was studying Medicine & Psychology as a double major, but lost my funding due to health crisis. I understand Medicine more than anything I could possibly be studying & at heart I am a healer & nurturer...
I am Lakota, Cherokee & Choctaw from my Mom. From my Dad I am Cherokee & Apache. Throw in some German & Irish & you have a long tall glass of Sondra. I'm very spiritual, sometimes attend a Pentecostal church, but also am very close to old Native spiritual ways & do my own personal saging, drumming etc.

I was asked by some of the people on my friends list to put something about myself up on this page.
I am not sure where to start, so this could end up being rather disjointed...Some facts about me...

I was born 7-17-62 and I am originally from Monroe, Michigan but have lived in Michigan [Monroe & Detroit], Ohio[Cincinasty's Over-The-Rhine neighborhood], Kentucky [Corbin, London, Fariston, Middlesboro, Pineville, Heidrick and Williamsburg], Tennessee [some cow pasture], Virginia [another cow pasture] and North Carolina [Franklin/Otto just down the mtn from Cherokee] at one point or another, as well as traveling to other states. I love to travel and see new places and faces.
For most of my life my best friends have been male but I like hanging with 'some' women as well-just not very many of them. Most prove to be catty bitches over time.

For those who keep asking-I did not go to high school anywhere. I didn't even enroll in high school but I did attend college for 3 years, entering much earlier than I would have had I attended high school. I attended Cumberland College/University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky and Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, Ky-Corbin campus. My areas of concentration were Pre-Med and Psychology as majors. I took a double major and did quite well with it. I carried a straight 4.0 grade average and enjoyed my studies a great deal. Yeah, I'm one of those geeky smart girls but get to know me and you will see that I like partying too.
I didn't get to finish Med school, though, because emergency life saving kidney surgery put me flat on my back in the hospital for a few months, and I lost my funding in the meanwhile. I now have a fake ureter from my right kidney to my bladder to help keep me alive.

I am a writer though not yet published. I am currently working on 5 different books, with 4 on the back burner, but one is almost ready to publish. I intend to put up a blog to tell more about my writing when I get time to do that, so keep your eyes open.
I am mother to Shivon, and mother-in-law to Powder, both of whom are in our family list. Be sure to show them some Fu love. I have two granddaughters and a new grandson.

I am a DES Daughter, as well as having had Polio as a baby, in utero, and was born with mild Spina Bifida. Add to that Scoliosis, Fibromyalgia and Arthritis. I still struggle from time to time with the after effects of the health issues I have to face but I try very hard to keep a smile on my face as much as possible. I am Bi-Polar but keep pretty level at most times. I also have many of the markers for Autism but was never diagnosed as such.

I have a deep respect for all our military personnel, both past and present.
I am of the Christian faith and attend a Pentecostal church when I go but I haven't been in several years.
I love to dance, even if I am not very good at it. Unlike many people, I do not need to have a drink before I get on the dance floor. I dance because it is fun and makes me feel good. I am 420 friendly.
I am into outdoor activities-camping, canoeing, swimming, sunning, freehand climbing, hiking, walking, etc...I also enjoy cooking, gardening, playing with my grandkids and hanging out with friends.
I am basically a nice person but will not put up with any BS off anyone. I will try to fix whatever problem anyone is having, though. Just keep your drama, lies, cheating and bullshit to yourself, please. Show respect and you will receive respect.

I love powwows and Native gatherings and have danced in the inner circle in the past, by invitation, with honor and respect for all my relations. There are pix in our folders of one powwow we attended. Be sure to take a look at them, they are beautiful..Paul knows best how to capture the greatest shots on film!
I have been in drum circles in the past, as the heartbeat drum, chosen for reasons obvious to those who know me best. I enjoy drumming and singing but haven't in quite awhile, it's time to do so again...I also want to start dancing at powwows whenever possible and not just as a guest. The honor of being asked to dance in the inner circle is not lost on me but dancing with all my relations is awesome and an honor in and of itself.

As for other aspects of my personal life, I am an open book in most ways but some things I prefer to keep very private. Anything you want to know, ask me. I will either give you the honest answer or tell you to mind your own business.
I can say that I wasn't looking for a mate when Paul and I met and joined paths. I was walking my own path and doing what I enjoyed doing, just being myself when my Creator put us together and I feel very Blessed to have him a part of my life.
I love him and respect him a great deal, just as he loves and respects me, and I feel very appreciative of even knowing him as he is a wonderful person and knows how to treat people right! Plus he is handsome, smart and sexy, whoo hoo! I'm such a Blessed girl!

I met Paul when I wasn't looking. Fate made our paths meet and diverge as one and I fully believe it is meant to be that we be together. We are madly in love and solid. I love Paul with all Ive got, he is my heart and soul, my blood and my air. I made a promise to myself to always make him smile, to fill his heart with happiness, hope and love. He has done that for me on a daily basis and I can only hope to reciprocate. His happiness is very important to me, just as mine is to him. Love like this doesn't come along every day and I feel more than Blessed to have him in my life. My heart sings in his presence, and I still go weak in the knees at his touch and his kiss. So much of our lives are the same or very similar and having met him, I know that real love does exist between a man and a woman. He is the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time and every day with him is a happy day for me. Here's to hoping all of you receive this kind of love in your lifetimes...
