Here is my problem. My daughter's father is going thru a nasty divorce with his wife. She has gotten back into drugs (hardcore stuff) and has been hanging around with her old drug buddies. She called up my daughters father and verbally bashed him for while, only to end the convo with "You better watch your daughter something may happen to her" along with more obscenities towards me. I did not hear this firsthand. He called me after fact.
Should I call the police and have a restraining order put on her?
or
Should I just watch for anything suspicious?
My worry is that a restraining order will provoke her into getting someone else to harass me, but if I don't the law couldn't do anything to help. I know some of the people she is friends with would do anything for $40 bucks worth of the stuff, so a possible scare tactic. Any advice? |
