Just when the hell is this recession going to ease up. I can't imagine how all of the families are dealing with unemployment. You know, a lot of them make up a portion of the towns. So they get laid off, money gets tight, they slow on spending, the businesses in turn lay more people off, if they are one of the lucky ones that can manage to keep their head above water.
So basically what this means is we don't need to stop spending. That seems to be making the problem worse. I suppose that is easier said than done if you aren't one of the fortunate few to still be working.
It just sucks to have friends that are struggling and there is nothing to do to help them. Things will get better; how long before it does? Who knows.....
