Losing You
I know I'm losing you,
I feel you slip away,
I try to hold you close inside,
But your hearts gone cold and grey.
Your eyes say you love me,
Your touch says you care,
But when you're not in my arms,
I feel you couldn't care.
It's like you never even loved me,
My heart was not enough,
And though you never hurt me so,
Your touch is cold and rough.
And still I want to hold on,
I want our love to work,
But in your brown and golden eyes,
A saddness does doth lurk.
My hand is there for you to grasp,
In my heart you can confide,
I'm losing you, I feel it know,
A heartbreak I can't hide.
I know I'll watch you walk away,
I know I'll miss your smile,
But in the end I know it's better,
Than a life lived in denial.

Losing Faith
i'm losing faith in love
every breath gets shorter with every sound of rejection soon i'll be gasping for air because sometimes the love
that i have for myself doesnt seem like it, alone, is enough
so tired of giving my heart, pouring out my soul to someone who doesnt feel the same because a heart can only be recycled so many times before it has to be thrown away
i'm tired of guessing, cant construe the situation from your perspective and i'm growing exhausted i've been told love isnt supposed to break me but it will, i'm losing faith in love
