I am 48 years old and live in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. I will be 49 in December. I have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren but had 6. Each daughter lost their first child. I also have 2 cats and 2 dogs that are my children.

I am here to find friends. I have to much baggage right now to want anything more and don't feel like I need to carry my issues into a relationship. Any local ladies in my area that would be interested in going out sometime I would welcome that. I am not looking for sex...just friends.

I suffer from an anxiety/panic disorder and chronic depression. I was diagnosed with my disorders in October 2002 and I am slowly improving from both. I had a lot of tragedy from July 2001 to September 2002 that took it's toll on me.

I lost my first grandson July 15th 2001. He was murdered by his father. The first week of June 2002 I lost a cousin I grew up with die from a drug overdose, another cousin was beaten to death and a stepson I helped raise for 7 years dropped dead at age 21. I attended 3 funerals in one week. My second grandchild was was born June 30, 2002 with birth defects and lived 16 days. She died the same day one year apart from my first grandchild July 15th ,2002.The last thing that took place that caused my condition was a Tornado that destroyed my house in September 2002. I had just got in my basement when it hit the house.

I had my first Panic attack 2 weeks later in October 2002. I have worked through these issues over the years and I am getting better.

Anyway I hope this doesn't scare any of you away but I figure honesty is the best policy. At least you know who I am.

I plan to write blogs about my life while I am on here and also on myspace. It will be a good mix of things so I hope it keeps you entertained.

I think I am fun to be with and I have a great sense of humor. Now you know some things about me...Let's take it from there.

A friend sent me this a few years ago and I kept it because it does have great meaning to it.

People come into your life for a REASON, a SEASON or a LIFETIME.

People come into your life for a REASON, a SEASON or a LIFETIME. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled,
their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come
to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season .

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.
