I was reading a comic book called "New Frontiers" when I came across a quote attributed to JFK.
I wish I could quote it all, but I returned the book and I can't find it after two seperate seraches and about three sites. I guess I give up fast. Anyways, here's the part that caught my attention.
"Will we sacrifice the future for present comfort?"
Thinking about this, I realized that I have been doing just that from day to day. Instead of facing my problems, which are mainly debt, and working to find work and work, I spend each day trying to be as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, without money it is impossible to reach a good level of comfort. So, I suffer day by day, instead of suffering for a while or for a few days or hours, and living in comfort the rest of the time! Sure seems stupid when I analyze it like this!
Anyways, hope y'all can get something out of this besides me being a loser ;-)
