Last night's American Red Cross Benefit show at the First United Methodist Church in Sweetwater, TN went great! Everyone performing gave it 110%. I'd like to thank the Red Cross for having me, Robin Kirkland for inviting me, and everyone who was there for listening. Also, I would like to thank Heather and Lauren the very talented young ladies who danced to my music onstage with me for delivering such excellent performances. May I always be fortunate enough to work with individuals who project such professionalism in all aspects of their performance.
I've uploaded a clip to my Youtube account (http://www.youtube.com/user/jaikens79) for anyone who was not able to make it or would like to see it again. I may add more over the comming days but I think this is the one that turned out the best as far as the camera angle/ lighting/ sound quality all go.

For the first time the reality of the Monroe County Red Cross’s ability to provide these services may cease to exist in our county, if we as a community cannot come together to show our love and support for individuals and families who have already lost all they own. The Red Cross provides emergency shelter, clothing, food and essentials to anyone who has suffered loss due to fire, flood, tornado or any other natural disaster. To those of us who have never had a tragedy of this nature strike, the scope of what the Red Cross provides does not strike a cord. But, to anyone who has had a disaster hit, they know that the services they provide are invaluable. How tragic it would be to see a family who has already lost all worldly belongings having to be turned away. Our county has an opportunity to make a difference, and enjoy the talented performances of many amazingly gifted artists under one roof.Please join us and become part of a community who can change the world-one town (or county) at a time. Admission is free, donations are greatly appreciated.

I watched your two youtube videos and I really enjoyed watching you play but what I also REALLY enjoyed was the little girl that you see briefly in both videos really getting into it. She seems to be a big fan of yours...too cute. I just wanted to reach into the computer and hug her. The dog also made me smile.
