I mean, I love my Mum but I don't telephone her everyday of the week so why should I have to say how I am to a certain person on Moon on the Wain. As soon as I log on he is there and I don't think he has anything better to do.
Well, he who know all said he was not going out today due to the bad luck factor but he has been forced to due to a nurse or doctor's appointment. I cannot remember which. He has also to go out and get the newspaper and post a parcel for me.
I cannot believe it because when I logged on this morning there was nothing except for the horrorscopers spiel and then half an hour later at about 5am Nielsen's Book Data sent me another order and I had to open it. Well it was from the same bookshop that purchased the other two and as the postage gets silly doing one book at a time I think I need to phone him and ask if he would stock ten and pay for them as he sells them. That way I save on postage and the books are not sitting here gathering Midland dust. They might as well gather Dorset dust and then at least they would be beside the seaside. Ah lucky things.
Actually they are well travelled to begin with and their lineage is pretty interesting so - well that does not mean a thing really. It is not where they came from that matters but where they end up. If it is on a shelf then at least they can say they saw the world before being left on the shelf and forgotten. Ah, if they only had a spine then they would get up and speak volumes but as it is they are spinelessy without title and unless I get a reply from India they will remain undressed and jacket-less.
Never mind you can't judge a book by its cover so their namelessness and lack of spine do not detract from their contents within all of which will go unread but at least they will never be accused of being unready, maybe undressed and unloved but never unready or under-cover come to that!!
As it is quiet in the bar I think I will go and get some food then see what the tarot has to say about the day.
