I was told by my lawyer NOT to turn my mileage forms into the workers comp people for my injury but instead, to turn it into her but if I do, she will get MORE money in the end and I will possibly get a tiny amount more. I was getting about $50 per trip (92 miles, round trip). She put in for an award for me but I don't know when all of this will settle. Since Christmas is right around the corner, should I...
A. Turn the forms into the workers comp people and get the money now and buy Christmas presents?
