I'm currently 21 1/2 weeks(5 months and 1 week) pregnant and every time someone finds out I'm pregnant they ask "So is it a boy or a girl?" or something to that effect. When I reply that we are going to wait till the baby is born, most of the time people seem shocked, dismayed, or upset that we do not want to find out.

So my question is: is it so weird that we do not want to know the gender of our baby?
