| My husband is getting his mining license next month. He has already been guaranteed a job at the coal mines he now works as a temp at. This morning a guy was killed underground at that mine. And it's got me thinking. Yes the money is great with that job, but is it really worth it considering all the hazards involved. My family has been around coal mines for longer than I've been alive, and short of a few minors accidents we've been lucky. No one has been killed. So... should I let my husband risk his life just so we can have some extra money, or ask him to find something else. |
