ok, so I was getting my hair cut yesterday, and a girl was walking behgind me to get to the same place. So I opened the door and held it for her, and she gave me a startled look and kind of darted inside. Well anyway, I let her ahead of me to get my hair cut, and she gets all pissed off about this.
I ask her what her deal is, and she tells me that men are not supposed to help women with things like that anymore and makes me see that my attempts at being a nice guy are COMPLETELY unappreciated.
so now, the question is.....is chivalry dead, and people just dont know how to deal with someone trying to be polite.....or is it just some people cant take a man trying to be nice to them? |
