In this haunting stage I creep,

Searching for something worthy to keep.

In the breaking light of dawn I stare with eyes so red.

Glancing at the devoid emptyness beside me at my bed.

And with a whisper unheard but true,

I call for one being: the memory of being by you.

So take my hand and show me to the light.

Take my heart and keep it in your sight.

Let me whisper sweet truths in your ear.

Let me wash away your fear.

I'll hold you close in nights so cold.

Trust not that I am truely there.

But know that I truely care.

Push all your fears into my chest,

And though I show such discretions when I talk,
