Intex has launched ' economic ' Android smartphone 4.4 KitKat on India, the Aqua T2, priced at Rs. 2,699.
The company announced that the Intex Aqua T2 will be available exclusively at Flipkart. However, as of now, the smartphone is not listed on the Web site of e-commerce. We can expect the smartphone going on sale soon.
Last budget smartphone Intex replaces A35K Campus of Celkon, priced at Rs. 2,999, as Android smartphone 4.4 KitKat cheaper than India.
The portable pet creator has continuously expanded its range of budget smartphones, launching the Intex Aqua 4 X smartphone to Rs. 2,999 last week.
Intex Aqua T2 is a dual SIM (GSM + GSM) and features a 3.5-inch IPS display with HVGA (320 x 480 pixels). The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek (MT6571) processor with 1.3 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 256 MB of RAM.
Comes with 512 MB of built-in memory, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32 GB). Sports a 2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 0.3 megapixel front camera secondary also on board. The T2 camera rear water features multiple modes of firing including Panorama, HDR and continuous shooting.
On the connectivity front T2 Aqua offers GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and Bluetooth options. Unfortunately, the smartphone does not support 3 g connectivity. In particular, A35K by Celkon Campus offers 3 g connectivity support, a highlight of the device to its price.
The smartphone contains a 1200mAh battery and is equipped with FM radio. Intex Aqua T2 will be available in grey and black.

Last month, the company launched its first smartphone Firefox OS in India, the FX cloud, priced at Rs. 1,999. The laptop was advertised as the ' more affordable ' smartphones.
