In fairy tales the prince rescues the princess and they live happily ever after.
This is what they never told you when you were a little girl, dreaming of your "prince" or "knight in shining armor"
They never said that trust would be an issue.
That the Prince and Princess would fight until they couldn't stand eachother going to bed angry.
They never shed light on the fact that Love isn't strong enough to escape death with something as simple as a Kiss.
Nor did they talk about divorce or ending up broken hearted.
They never wrote in the pages about tears that would be shed.
Why didn't they add in as a sidenote that Fairy Tales is all bullshit?
Or that the prince could have only one thing on his mind?
They led you on to believe that Love's answers could be just in a few pages, or simple steps.
Why didn't they add that a "prince" could become the "princess's" world and when he left, her world did to.
They never told us as little girls that jealousy would be an issue.
Or that in the game of love the word "sorry" just became another word when over-used. Meaningless..
As children we considered Love as a perfect thing, It has no effort into it and everything ends up perfect in a "Happily Ever After". I wish someone would've told me that there's no actual prince for me, Nor am I a princess.
That I'll never really have a fairy tale.
I wish I could've known, and not be so stupid to think someones going to rescue me.
I guess that's why their fairy tales then huh..?
