Just so you're up-to-date when you read this see my previous blog "Deep Thoughts".
My cousin who I mentioned before who had fallen and had to have surgery because an infection was found in her leg(which she'd several years earlierd bone cancer in.) She has since has a few surgeries and has decided to have them take her leg to avoid future infection.
I haven't been able to speak to her, though not sure what I'd say. It seems funny my family and friends always told me I could find something right to say for any ocassion, but right now I think all I'd do is breakdown and cry.
I couldn't imagine having to make that decision or wanting to, and she just thought about it and that was that. It's not been an easy decision and people have asked her not to do it, but it's her body, her life and I guess if I'd been through all of that, I'd just want to not have to worry about going through it all over again also.
She's a great person and for me, truly incredible.
