Far is the distance
That has grown between us.
So many days........alone
So many nights.......lonely.
I remember your touch
And the joy from your smile
But.....Do you remember me.
The years have been good to me
I have grown up tall and strong
the pain you must have suffered
teaching me right from wrong.
I've learned the lessons you taught me
It took time, But they did sink in.
And now....years later
I still need you...
And I need you to know
I remember you.
