A Chair Sits Empty BY: Ronald F. Brown 11/22/2006 Family gathers on holidays to feast Food a plenty for all to see. Children playing and laughing in the yard. Hugs and kisses from distant family now reunited from far. All join hands to give thanks for the bountiful feast. Yet in the midst of this Rockwell painted scene, A chair sits empty, yes, yours soldier. Angels of mercy guarding your deploy Prayers from all us present employ. Even though absent from us this day. Our thoughts are with thee though oceans and lands away. Be brave dear love one in battles unknown to us. But return safely as your empty chair waits. And arms without bullets belonging to us. Wait to welcome you back.

She was only five This is what happened When she was alive... Her dad was a drunk Her mom was an addict Her parents kept her Locked in an attic Her only friend was a little toy bear It was old and worn out And had patches of hair She always talked to it When no one's around She lays there and hugs it Not a peep of sound Until her parents unlock the door Some more and more pain She'll have to endure A bruise on her leg A scar on her face Why would she be In such a horrible place? But she grabs her bear And softly cries She loves her parents But they want her to die She sits in the corner Quiet but thinking, "Please God, why is My life always sinking? " Such a bad life For a sad little kid She'd get beaten and beaten For anything she did Then one night Her mom came home high And the poor child was beaten As hours went by Then her mom suddenly Grabbed for a blade It was sharp and pointy One that she made She thrusted the blade Right in her chest, "You deserve to die You worthless pest!" The mom walked out Leaving the girl slowly dieing She grabbed her bear And again started crying Police showed up At the small little house Then quickly barged in Everything quiet as a mouse One officer slowly Opened a door To find the little girl Lying on the floor It must have been bad To go through so much harm But at least she died With her best friend in her arms A child dies every day from child abuse. And if you have an ounce of pity in you for little Auroura and you hate child abuse with a passion you will repost this and help out those abused children and let them know that someone cared for them. It doesn't take that long only about 10 seconds so please just do it

IF I KNEW If I knew it would be the last time That I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep. If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day. If I knew it would be the last time I could spare an extra minute to stop and say "I love you," instead of assuming yo u would KNOW I do. If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day, Well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away. For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything just right. There will always be another day to say "I love you," And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do?" But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike, And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight. So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day, That you didn! 't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish. So hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear, Tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear Take time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay." And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

American Soldiers The year was 1969 when 60,000 Americans stood and said I am a American Soldier, I will give my life to save a life For this is my job I wll not fear my enemy for he will not fear me If I should die,my job shall be complete Now I move on to heaven to become a soldier of god For he will take me in to help keep the peace in all of heaven 36 years later, soldiers are still pows and MIA But we remember them to this day They gave their life so we could be free 34 years after the Vietnam war 1500 americans gave thier life so we could remain free Each one stood and said I will give my life to save a life For this is my job I wll not fear my enemy for he will not fear me If I should die,my job shall be complete Now I move on to heaven to become a soldier of god For he will take me in to help keep the peace in all of heaven Each American who gave their life will never be forgotten 200,000 Marines Soldiers, Air Men, and sailors we're deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq And every day we all pray they come back Each one stood and said I will give my life to save a life For this is my job I wll not fear my enemy for he will not fear me If I should die,my job shall be complete Now I move on to heaven to become a soldier of god For he will take me in to help keep the peace in all of heaven -------------------------------------------------- i copied this and put it here for all my friends, family, and fans to read to. it is so true and awesome that i think it should be shared with all.
