Figures...I finally get the chance to test for a professional fire/rescue company in Virginia, and not only do I lack the gas money to get there, but my brakes are fairly well shot. So even if I had the gas money, I wouldn't be able to make it with the way my brakes are. I applied to the company about a month ago and just finally heard from them, and it would just figure that the day I got the letter inviting me to test would be the same day that my brake lines blows out on me. It's my luck...I should probably just accept it as such, but I refuse. One of these days, I WILL make it down to test, and hopefully it's soon so I don't lose the chance.
