I wait...
I wait by the hours in a day,
I trust that time will not waste away.
I try to come to an understanding of why things
turn out like they do,
All that comes to mind ore thoughts of you.
I struggle to understand the tears I cried,
Often going back to the tie that binds.
We had bonded so quickly and fell apart just as fast,
No time to create a future when we don't even have a past.
Knowning we both want to remain friends,
Time will only tell in the end.
I wait by the hours in a day,
Knowing it might find away...
to prolong what you have to say.
I know how I feel for you,
I want you to express yourself too.
