| About two months ago I came home from work and tried to power on my laptop and I basically had the screen of death that said something to the effect of can not load start up menu. The night before I had used it and everything was fine. I asked my brother whom lives with me if he had used it, and he was real quick to say no. Then it dawned on me that same day he had called me at my job and was asking me questions about uploading some pics and I told him that would be fine to go ahead and use the LT. I also found out from a little birdie that my 9 year old niece had been using my laptop during the day while I was at work not to jump subjects however it is all irrelevant. I took my laptop to the computer store, whom is actually a family friend. I've known him since I was a little girl but it's not like I'm wanting any breaks I'm a paying customer. It's been two months since he's had my friggen laptop I keep calling and never get anywhere. I'm always told well he will call you back, and never does. So I'm livid ok!! I went up there today and he say's that it's my hard drive. He can't restore anything from it. All my pictures music everything *GONE* I asked if it was from a virus and he said no that it had appeared to be phyisically damaged, meaning it was droped. I'm so pissed because I can't have anything in this house everything gets broke all the time. Anyways I was told I can get an 80 GiG hard drive, which I know nothing about, for one bill. I'm only getting charged for the part, since he's had it for so long. I know my brother or his daughter had to of done something to it and is not facing up to it..*Grrrr* Should I overlook the whole incedent maybe he is telling the truth or should I blame him totally? |
