My little boy is 5 yrs. old and is in kindergarten....His teachers swear up and he has ADHD and say he will fail if I don't put him on drugs that will calm him down and make him focus....I took him to his doctor and she says that he does not have ADHD and that he is just a regular little 5 yr. old boy and the teachers are just lazy but if I wanted him on drugs that she would do it....She also said that since he didn't have PRE-K that maybe he wasn't prepared for kindergarten and that I should withdrawl him this year so it doesn't show as a fail and re-install him next year....I don't know what to do, he has made so many friends.
So my question is:
Should I Withdrawl him and re-install him next year?
or
Should I go ahead and put him on drugs and let him repeat? |
