Well, here I sit and it's the last month of 2008 and I've been through a lot of ups and downs this year.
First off I haven't been employed since July. This was "ok" for a few months, but then the monies started getting lean. Bought a new house in February and made my house payments through November thinking I would have a job by then. Wrong.
I'm letting the house go back to the finance company and thanking my lucky stars I didn't sell or trade my old house. It's gonna need some work, but I'm just going to pour the $$ into it rather than trying to make a payment I cant afford.
The unemployment through my state ran out last month but I did qualify for extended benefits though the feds....Thank goodness for that or I really would be in a pickle. There are just NO jobs here.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not whining....I have a house to live in, money in the bank, I'm healthy and I have FuBar!
