For CC

A coldness enters her soul. She feels horribly out of control. The anger inside overwhelms her mind. Stress, and frustration begins to be confined. Her eyes change from brown to grey. From these intense feelings that she conveys. Her heart is locked into protected chains. She will not allow herself to relive that pain. Learning to trust was hard from the start. But now from even the slightest smile she departs. All she knows and needs to be is strong. If she accomplishes - in a whisper of hope - nothing will go wrong.
How long have I walked alone? Isolate all that I have known. Help me, I need someone to hold. I trust no one, my heart is growing cold. My heart is like an ember, holding back the pain. A wall of ice around it, that tries to out the flame. Cause it hits me, I’m a loser. How could you claim to be my friend? Abuse my trust to gain for your own ends. Why have you treated me this way? You’ll regret your actions of that day. Conscience plays its mind-games, a daily dose of pain. Too late to heal the wounds you cause, your tears will fall like rain. Cause it hits you, you’re a loser

I have this strange fascination with sunken ships. I love the smell of October. There is nothing more satisfying than the sound of a dead leaf being crushed under my foot. I'm a thinker. I pretend my life is a movie sometimes, and when dramatic things happen I apply Hollywood techniques and weep like the stars. We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes. I refuse to believe in a god who is the primary cause of conflict in the world, preaches racism, sexism, homophobia, and ignorance, and then sends me to hell if I’m ‘bad’.!
1 Look to the future Senator Obama offers the most comprehensive energy plan of any Presidential nominee in history, it will end our dependence on foreign oil and create as many as 5,000,000 jobs. Senator McCain’s plan continues the Bush Administration’s policy of appeasement to Big Oil, does nothing to reduce our dependence on oil, and isn’t as good as Paris Hilton’s. 2. You pollute, you pay Obama and Biden support plan to make polluters pay for pollution credits and to clean up toxic waste. McCain wants us to foot the bill for clean-up and to give polluters billions in tax breaks and subsidies. 3. Keeping us healthy Obama and Biden have fought to keep our air and water clean. McCain has voted against clean water ten times and voted six times to make it harder for states and the EPA to keep our air clean. 4. Listening to the scientists The Nobel Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says that America must reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2050 in order to avoid the worst effects of global warming. Obama’s plan will reach that goal. McCain’s plan falls far short. 5, The record speaks for itself Senator Barack Obama earned a lifetime environmental voting score of 86%. Senator Biden earned an 83%. Senator John McCain earned a 24% score. 6. Decisions are made by those who show up In the last two years, John McCain missed EVERY SINGLE major vote on energy. One vital 2007 bill, to move billions of dollars in tax credits from the oil industry to wind, solar and other clean energy sources, failed by one vote: John McCain’s. Obama and Biden, also running for President, voted for it. 7.Saving money at the pump Obama proposes to double the fuel efficiency of our cars in 18 years, reducing our oil consumption by at least 35% or 10 millions barrels per day. McCain voted against increasing fuel efficiency in 2003 and 2005. He missed the 2007 vote. Presumably, he ran out of gas. 8. We’re not alone For more than 20 years, Joe Biden has been at the forefront of the fight against global warming. In 1986, he offered the first Senate bill to fight global warming pollution. Since then, he has been the Senate’s strongest voice for making America the international leader in reducing global warming pollution and exporting clean technology. 9.Higher standards To create millions of new jobs, we must boost production of renewable electricity. Obama plans create 25% of our electricity from clean energy by 2025. McCain opposes any national renewable energy standard. 10.Judge him by his friends Senator McCain accepted more than $2 million from the oil and gas industry, more than half of that since he changed his position on offshore drilling last month. His forthcoming plan to open America’s playgrounds and sandboxes to drilling is expected to net another $1.2 million.
1. Barack Obama has personal experience with poverty and the growing income gap, having grown up abroad in Indonesia and working as a community organizer in the south side of Chicago. 2. After graduating Harvard Law, Magna Cum Laude and president of the Harvard Law Review, Obama could have become a wealthy corporate or trial lawyer but returned to Chicago to practice civil rights law. 3. He also taught Constitutional Law at the University of Chicago, so he knows how our government is supposed to work. 4. He has the most experience as an elected official and legislator with over 10 years in state and federal public service. He is the only top Democratic candidate who understands both state and federal government as an elected legislator. 5. He opposed the Iraq war before it started and has a specific plan for redeploying all combat troops by March 31, 2008. 6. He has received an A+ score from the Genocide Intervention Network for being a "champion" and taking crucial action to end the genocide in Darfur, co-sponsoring and voting for all significant Darfur legislation. 7. Barack Obama is committed to universal health care by the end of his first term. 8. He has sponsored, co-sponsored and advocated for significant and realistic legislation to end global warming by capturing and safely disposing carbon dioxide, raising vehicle fuel economy standards and replacing petroleum with home-grown biofuels like cellulosic ethanol. 9. He has the broadest base of supporters, has not accepted PAC money and is the least compromised by big money special interests. 10. Barack Obama has the intellect, natural talent and charisma to communicate effectively to the entire world, bring people together, change the status quo and move our country forward.
