I am a late bloomer as far as the virtual world, was becoming concerned that life would leave me by the wayside if I didn't learn the dance.
It is a much different world since the cyber world came into being. I remember when there was no computers or internet. Heck I remember before there was cable,lol.
I went to the library a few months ago and the internet happened to be down. The librarian looked at me quite confused when I asked for help referencing a certain obscure title. I asked him what the problem was.Sheepishly he looked at me and said "Can you wait for us to come back online?" What a hoot.....
I am 50 and single. Got tired of the bar scene and this has turned out to be a good venue for fielding desirable connections. As the whirlwind of life pulls me along, it is good to know that there are other ways of meeting people.
Sure there are some disappointments, but I have yet to have a really bad experience. And I have had some great times with people, some of which I have met here. Even though I am still looking for "the one", making friends is great too. Just remember, I am dancing as fast as I can
