Why is it that people say that they don't have a problem with gay people but that they shouldn't get married?
A few friends of mine and I decided to throw a party for our one friend as a congrats for getting enguaged. While planning this blowout one, of our friends decided that he no longer wants anything to do with being his friend since he is getting married... all because of the fact that he is gay! How messed up is that? He has no problem with the fact that he is gay, and always says "as long as he's happy thats all that matters." But now that he is doing what makes him happy, he decides that they should "keep it in the closet" because it just isn't right.
What I want to know is do you feel it is ok for gay people to get married or not, and why. |
