Human-Nature by Kuba
Night falls.
The blue velvet of the sky becomes pierced by the light of the past,
They flicker a whisper of the ancient ways.
Horizons interrupted by the crown of forest call out softly
With the caress of a breeze.
The moon ignites silver on water.
Cries of life unbound reach up to the heavens
And the earth breathes the essence of creation.
All is one.
Man and beast face the end together unto the breaking of the sun.
Perpetual darkness
A blood red glow usurps the stars from the sky,
Whispers are drowned out by the groan of industry.
Cold steel impales the horizon,
Jutting out of strangled earth.
The moon is dead.
Cries are heard no more,
Life’s absence is a silent scream born from one last breath.
One is all.
We are alone unto the breaking of the world.
What path is that of destiny?
