Well It has been a year and a half in the process. In may 2006 I was told by Homes For Our Troops that they would build me a house. After finding the right plans to fit my needs and my family. Planning started in September and We finally cleared the land that I bought and made a Huge mud hole in December. It rained from Dec 17 though most of February. We broke ground January 6th and started the Foundation. The spring was pretty productive but then summer hit and so did another round of rain that lasted all of june and July and part of August. School started for my kids on 27 Aug. Finally all was finished and we got the keys in Mid September. Now almost moved in and trying to figure out where things go. Thanks to all the Donors who gave us products and materials and their time to finish my Home. Thanks to all those who support Troops here on Fubar. For all of you who know a severely wounded warrior send me a message and I well give let you know how they can get the support they need as they transitions from soldier to civilian. God Bless

Tomorrow Is the ground breaking for my new house. It has been raining for several days now and the mud just keeps getting deeper. But Progress is afoot. I have had the land cleared, hence all the Mud and water. All the plans a done and the permits are filed. Lets go already. I am very anxious to get it going since we started planning the project In May of 2006. Thanks to all that support Americas troops. If it were not for YOU some Soldiers would not have homes of our own. My house is being donated and built by an organization called Homes for our troops.
