F.A. stands for fat admirer, some one who admire's fat. Sounds good to you? Do like to watch fat? Pictures on the internet or girls in the street? Yes, that about sums it up to me. A person who admires fat, likes fat girls and pictures of them.
To me F.A. means nothing, says nothing. It was a term dreampt up but has lost its meaning because it has been corrupted.
I am married to a fat woman. Fat is a term bandied about by various groups as an attempt to win back the meaning and to stop it being a rude word. Good for them but I can't use it myself. Fat is a substance, pigs are fat, fat is sold in supermarkets. I like fat women? Therefore I admirer large ladies. So what exactly do I admire? I can tell you exactly what I admire, their strength, stamina, fortitude, intelligence and the ability to get up in the morning ready to battle the day knowing how the rest of the world feels about their size and to keep their sanity and sense of humor through out the day. How do I know? I told you already, I am married to one.
It’s not just admiration, it's more than that. It's respect, acceptance, love and devotion. I am not a FA though I have no other term for it. I really wish there were. I live the life with a BBW. I am more than a FA. I am there when the cruel remarks are made. I am there when the seats are to small to sit in at the restaurant. I am there when people look mockingly. I am there when it all get to much. More than an F.A.? I am a husband, father and life partner.
There are few of us around. I have met others who call themselves F.A.'s but are single or with a 'thin-ish' woman but say they support the 'cause'. They are the ones who download the pictures and in public deny everything.
Well I say it's time for action, time for Us TRUE F.A.'s to unite and show support for this group of women we love so much. Show them all what a TRUE F.A is. Stayed tuned to 'The Mystery F.A.' website, there will be ideas and projects for all F.A's to get involved with.
