So I am in love with this guy, we have been going out for 2 months now and I have come across a bit of a sticky situation. He smokes pot. I dont hate or anything and I knew this when we first started dating, but I told him I couldn't have a really serious life long relationship with someone who smokes pot. I just dont see it in my future. About a week after we started dating he said he was going to quit, I thought hey that is great because he knows it bothers me and that we really wouldnt be able to have a future together. I told him I didnt want to be the reason why he is quitting and he sais he wanted to. Here we are a month and a half later and he is still doing it, he says he only does it when I am around so I dont think he is sneaking around behind my back, and if he were to do it when we werent together he would tell me about it. I have found out a couple of times that he has done it when I wasnt there and he didnt end up telling me. I dont want to nag him or be a pain in the ass, but it is becoming a real problem in our relationship. So to the question...
Should I:
A. Tell him he has to quit or there will be no more us.
or
B. Deal with it.
I would appreciate any comments or other opinions. Sorry its so long. Thanks! |
