This is more of a serious question....
My daughters father just passed away this past Sept.....
He was an only child and my daughter is his only child.....
The grandmother has been calling non-stop pressuring my daughter to come visit her every weekend. I've been letting her go when she wants to but she comes home telling me about how her G-Ma does nothing but cries the whole time. My daughter is only 7 and so far has been dealing with her loss very well. She is starting to avoid calls from her G-Ma now and I think it's due to the pressure.
So.....
A. Should I sit the Grandma down and tell her to stop Pushing so much?
or
B. Let my daughter continue to handle it in her own way?
I dont want to see anyones feelings hurt but yet I am obligated to my daughters well being 1st and foremost! |
