| Well, my divorce will be final soon. Thank God. Thing is, my ex husbands son is still living with me and doesnt want to leave. I gave him structure and he has picked up his grades and made new friends and has a new life. The problem is when he goes visit his dad and mom, he comes home with a potty mouth and they ve been getting him drunk and letting him do as he pleases. Hes 16. Hes real easy to get back on track, but man, this is heart ache. Im scared if something happens to him while hes in my care i'll get sued or something. I also dont want to leave that door open for the ex to come back. Im done done done with his crazy ass. On the other hand I dont want to turn a child away. The son told me last night that hes afraid he turns to drugs or starts messing up in school again if he goes back to his mom or dads. Ive tried talking to both parents. Doesnt work. Theres nothing I can do legally, and I dont know what to do. |
