Top 'O the day to all. Not alot going on this am for me. waiting for a phone call so I thought I would take the time to wish each and everyone one of the lovely women out there A BEAUTIFUL LOVELY MOTHERS DAY. I have plans to go see My grandmother Nell later on today. My mother has to work so I wont get to see her or talk with her until she gets home. she and I live miles away so me seeing her is more than unlikely so I can still phone her. not the same as seeing her in person but it's better than nothing at all. I love her to bits, she and I havent always seen eye to eye on alot but as I get older I realize some of the things she would nag me about was for my best interest. She is very set in her ways but a hard working lady. She has had the same job since I was 2 yrs of age. She is almost ready to retire and as soon as she does she and I plan to travel a bit. May not go far, then again she and I may end up in BFE. who knows, she and I are like men , Very unpredictable at times. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. I like spur of the moment things. My mother has lived a very hard life but managed to over come all of that and raised 3 daughters. She gave birth to 4 of us but one passed away at the tender age of 8 months old due to electracution. Long story but very devastating to her. She was born b4 me so I never got the pleasure of knowing her. She was a beautiful baby girl. A year passed and then the news came that she would be giving birth to another child, that would be me, I was the last of her children and I was so sick when I was born she decided that she couldnt face losing any more so she decided to have her tubes tied. I was born with all sorts of health problems and all she could think about was losing me and being saddened all over again, she used to tell me that I could obviously never take the place of my sister but It was like I came in the right time because I was what kept her sanity from losing my sister. I hold nothing against her for that and I can understand her feelings. It wold be the same with any of my 3 boys, They each have their own little personalities and losing any of them would devastate me, even if I was to have another one, it couldnt take the place of any of them. They are my little men and they never cease to amaze me. Very brilliant they are. I will share a little story with you all that still to this day makes me laugh. My oldest son which is 9 now was pushing my next to the oldest in one of those motorized jeeps, well the battery had gone down and they was a piece up the drive way, so here they came all tired and sluggish for he had pushed him quite a ways. we;; they got to the yard and my youngest was one of those that had to pack like he was leaving home for a week, he had taken several of his toys and put them in a bag, well he accidently dropped them and my oldest son looked down at him never cracking a smile and said and i do quote " bub hury up get your shit together we have to get the hell up out of dodge". I was stunned because need to remind you, the oldest at this time was only 4 at the time. I was so just shocked and blown over I couldnt really say anything, I mwan what he said was a bit inappropriate but at the same time was just wow. I had to turn my head to keep him from seeing me snicker over it, I played it off as if I didnt hear it because as much as he needed to be corrected for saying what he had said I couldnt snap at him, the moment was just to precious. tO TOP it all off my little one looked up at him and said bub I am doing the best that I can , cant you see, soooo totally just wow. I later told my husband at the time that they was watching way to many of those western type flicks. It goes to show, children pay attention to things more that we realize. So the morral to all of this I suppose is never underestimate them no matter how young. Onw more quick story Back at christmas my little one made me a home made christmas card in school, he had a christmas tree on the front that was coloured a very pretty pine green all except for the top, I asked him if he was in a hurry when he coloured it for the top was white, he looked at me with out hesitation with his hand on his hip and said " duh mom dont you know it's snow" ?. Needless to say I shut me mouth and never asked any more ?'s. Moments like this are what make it worth it all. oK once again, this ends another session of my ramblings, hope you enjoyed. Remember to all of you mothers out there hold your babies no matter how old dear to your hearts, they are what gives meaning to this day, remember to show your own mother the same love, they brought us into this world. blessed be to all Peace
