Hi folks....I'm a single guy living in the vast open spaces of the Australian countryside. I love it! I was born & bred in Sydney & since moving to where I live now, I know I'd never go back to the city to live. I get claustrophobic in cities now!!
I'm a database officer in the welfare field. I maintain a database of service providers in quite a large region of NSW. These service providers form a network of services available to those who use our service to find the most suitable service provider for their specific need in the area of their interest. It's a satisfying job, not only because it's cyclic & always requires updating, but it's knowing that the entries I maintain actually help someone somewhere sometime.
My interests are in computer games, online chatting & community volunteering. I'm an instructor in radio communications for the NSW State Emergency Service (a volunteer disaster rescue service) as well as belonging to the Communications Group in the NSW Rural Fire Service (another volunteer service that fights fires in forests, grassland & rural communities).
I have served 11 years in the Australian Army in my younger years before being medically discharged following a bad accident while in service. I have some disability but nowhere near as bad as many I have seen.
