Remember the days
we used to share
the sunshine rays
shined in your hair
you fought in wars
and battles too
you split smores
between me and you
i felt something
was terribly wrong
so i gave my mom ring
to ask what was wrong
she replied with a frown
that she had to lay you down to rest
as i looked down
i tried my best
to not cry a tear
but it didn't work
it was my worst fear
death did the work

the good times
