Grand Theft Auto

Don't push my redial button...you will be calling 911!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dialed 911 about an hour and 15 minutes ago...aprox. 2:15am. I was just headed into my bedroom, (the only window which faces the road and the front of our house), and was setting up a movie to watch, (thank God I stay up late), when I noticed 2 men walking suspiciously to one of the neighbor kid's vehicles parked out across the street on the road. Kinda seemed odd, but then they walked back towards where they came originally, (southbound-out of my sight due to our garage). Just seconds after I noticed them both returning to the neighbor's car even more suspiciously now....and then complete, no doubt about it...they were breaking into the car! The one male stood at the driver's side front quarter panel facing the road-facing my frickin house with me standing right in front of my window with my bedroom light on....clearly out for him to see.....the other male hunched over the driver's door/window obviously trying to break into the car. I immediately shut off my bedroom light, grabbed the phone, dialed 911 and went back into the dark bedroom to watch. The male standing guard went around to the passenger side of the vehicle and was able to open the door and let the "dumbest" theft in by unlocking the driver's side door from the inside. They were obviously careful at not closing the car doors to make a sound, yet closing them enough as to not make it look as if they were opened at all, and closed enough to keep the dome light from turning on. They began to rifle through the front and back seats. Within minutes 2 squad cars pull up...one driving northbound in the road, another driving southbound in the parking lot across the street-directly on the passenger side of the neighbor's vehicle. Before I got off the phone with the police dept. I heard over the phone their walkie talkies stating that a black pick up truck drove off towards BB which was believed to be the getaway or drop off vehicle, (the unseen by me vehicle they originally came walking from in the first place-also the one they went back to to get their gear to break in), and I also heard them mention that both men had gloves on...yes, they were indeed trying to steal belongings and/or the vehicle! (Of course I did have some doubts as to whether I was going to look like a complete ass when the police showed up there) I came outside when the one cop came to wake up my neighbors. We all had to write down statements. We all had to kinda take a look at the burglars to see if we might know them or have seen them before. The cops caught the black pick up truck, and yes, it was the "getaway" vehicle. The men still had their light blue rubber gloves on when they got cable-tied and then fully handcuffed. Pictures were taken of the car-outside and inside, and of both men. We actually had to go looking around for one of the perp's cell phones which was dropped during the break in or the actual arrest.....WTF?! We found it...in the car. They had a big huge keychain of all basic Honda keys, (it was a Honda Acura). They also had some screwdrivers and such I overheard anyway...saw the keys firsthand. I also saw the key they tried to use in the ignition...the sucker was bent all the way down at the base of the key! They really tried making that key work!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad they were using the wrong basic key of their's! If they had used the proper key out of their set they would have probably at least taken the car for short sweet ride. Welp....now I'm finally getting to the movie I was going to watch nearly 2 hours ago....lol....obviously pulling an all nighter now tonight...along with my neighbor boys...lol...like any of us can sleep now! I was referred to as a savior from the one neighbor brother to the brother vehicle owner, (I now know for sure there won't be anymore complainin bout my music...hahaha), .......and unfortunately in just joking fashion, I was asked if I wanted a job at the Grand Chute Police Dept. I don't think he had a clue as to exactly how serious I was when I said, "YES, YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" LMFAO!!!!
