Yes, indeed. Your soul is housed in a physical body. That physical
body is a temporary state of being that allows your soul to have
physical experiences. First, you are intricate to the universe's
evolutionary plan of perfection.
The soul is an entity that has a mission, if you will, and that is
somewhat hedonistic, or self-serving, and that is to learn, to adapt,
and to survive.
Now this is where the duality of awareness comes into play. You see,
each person, or physical manifestation has its own physical structure,
think of a house and the general contractor you would hire to build
your house. Each contractor comes with a different skill set,
knowledge base and ability. Your parents, who donate their DNA to your
physical development, are in a sense contractors who contribute
different things, that come with their physical history, to your
birthing process - you inherit those things.
Now, to make this more complicated you also have a brain, within the
physical body you have that is shaped through the contributions your
parents have made to your building process, and then, it also
processes your thoughts, beliefs and personal experiences and tries to
make sense out of it all.
Your soul that came into the awareness you now know, the being you
are, has to navigate all those things to get back if you will, in
balance within itself and this is how the soul learns.
When someone leaves the house, they may not ..... well, want to go.
The soul does have its own energy and its own limited awareness that
is natural to it. Sometimes there is confusion when the physical body
breaks down and dies off, and the soul is not aware that has happened,
because it is a sudden shock. This happens when death is sudden and
unexpected.
The soul may have become attached to its home, life, family and it may
want to stay around to live on through them and with them. Usually
when this happens, the soul waits for the ones it loves to die and
then it will cross over and transition with them as a unit.
The bonds you form within this life are strong. They are the unions
that will define you and how you live. There is an old saying, show me
your friends and I'll show you who you are. Ghosts are, in a sense, a
vibrational aspect, or imprint, of your soul that lives on after the
body dies.
Ghosts are in the part of life whose will is so strong that they cling
to the parts of life they have enjoyed. There is a veil if you will,
for lack of a better term that separates realities. The perception of
Ghostly apparitions is sustained by your ability to perceive something
and try to make sense out of it.
