"Get through the new day"
Every once in awhile
I can lose everything;
I lose my way home
My heart then refuses to sing
I've been losing my mind
I've been looking around;
Wondering what's happening.
If I've truly be found.
Is there something missing
Was it truly ever gone?
When I think I've found it
I wake up to the new dawn.
I curse the mornings
I welcome the night;
My Angel breaks through
Then embraces me by candle light.
Her warmth surrounds me
Tears wash my sins away;
I hold her love close
It helps me get through the new day.
