My husband is from New Jersey. I am from upstate/central NY and so is all of my family. We're having Thanksgiving dinner at our place this year (and looking at having up to 10 adults and 2 children over). We have a two bedroom apartment, for myself, my husband (obviously), and my son. I told my husband that I though it would be best if his parents, his sister, and their dog stayed at a motel/hotel to make things easier. Keep in mind I work third shift and will be coming home from work Thanksgiving morning at 7am to begin cooking. I guess my request for them to stay elsewhere for their visit upset my father in-law quite a bit. Am I out of line for asking them to get a room somewhere?
