With recent gas price hikes, I'm sure we are all fed up with the BS reasons on why prices suddenly go up. I blame election year, traditionally prices inflate during these times. It is hard for one person to make a difference, but there are a few options for us all to contribute to speak out mind back to the gas companies.
The debate is to either
1) Fill up your car normally at your favorite local gas station as you have been.
or
2) Spread out the filling of your tank to several different gas stations, $10 at a time. It's a hassle to go put $10 each time at different gas stations, but it spreads my money out across different gas companies. Chevron no longer gets my $50 to fill my tank, they now get $10.
