What are you waiting for?
well... it's in the early stages of planning, but sometime in December or January I am going to be heading out.. Leaving NY. Will I be back? Dont know... There's a lot of time between now and then and things may change. At this time I know this, there is little left for me in NY/NJ anymore. I have some friends sure but thats about it. Not much besides the kids to hold me here so the options have to expand at this point.
So sometime in Mid December/January I'll be packing up and heading south west.. I will be attending the wedding of a friend in the Houston Texas area and stopping to visit friends along the way. Once I get to Texas that might be as far as I go , or maybe it'll be the halfway point to somewhere else.
I have learned a lot here on Fubar, I met the woman I thought I loved, I found out that she had lied to me from the beginning of our relationship and that she only waited 5 months to start cheating on me. I thought it was the last great love of my life... Boy...Was I ever proven wrong.
FUBAR has taught me that NOBODY is to be trusted completely. That they in effect will have to back up their intentions with their deeds and not just pay lip service. The walls I had following my divorce are back, they are higher than ever and I realize now that on here most people will use you for whatever you can provide them and then discard you without hesitation.
So my journey will begin: It will take me through many states and cities along the way. NY,NJ,PA,WV,VA,NC,KY,TN,GA,AL,MS,LA,and finally Texas.
Guess it remains to be seen along the way what life and such holds for me. The trip may take 2 weeks, but it may just be the beginning of a new future in a new place, with fresh opportunities and possibly the woman I am destined to meet. Whatever it holds it promises to be an adventure.. and I now look forward to it with a sense of hope and excitement.
I'll try and update this when dates are available and plans become more set. If you want to say hi along the way I'll be happy to do so...I've met so many good people and would love to just stop and say THANKS for being there..
