I'm not here trying to impress anyone with my friend count, my score, my points, or any other value tacked on to my profile.
That said, if I don't know you, I'm going to deny your friend request. It doesn't mean I don't like you or think your ugly or whatever insecurity it is that you have.
I simply don't know you. Why should I list some one I don't even know as a "friend"?
Fubar has a nice feature of allowing people to be fans of each other. If you think I'm someone that you'd like to get to know. Start up a conversation or become a fan. Who knows, maybe we'll actually become friends. And then I'll list you as such.
