Welcome to another week of self-discovery and universal understanding. You start the first week of the New Year off with this month’s Full Moon. Early Wednesday morning the Moon at 12º Cancer will be in opposition to the Sun at 12º Capricorn. This month’s Full Moon will focus her light on your home versus your job. With the Moon, (which rules the sign Cancer) in its own sign, this month’s Full Moon and emotional drama center all around your desire for domestic security. This month’s Full Moon will have you over-dramatizing your emotional insecurities. The light of the Sun is focused on what you bring to the world, and how the world sees you. You feel as if your personal feelings are being overlooked and under-appreciated, which is the root cause of today’s Full Moon personal conflict. Your children can also be a source of emotional upsets on this Full Moon, because they seem to need more nurturing then you have time for. Your feelings will border on the highs of emotional extremes today, so be very careful of excessive emotional responses. The flow of the waters of emotion are fast, and the tide is high today. To swim in these waters would put your personal security at rest. The Moon in Cancer represents on Earth the Mother principle of life. The Sun in Capricorn represents on Earth the Father principle.
