Does 'looks' really matter? I know that for a fact when you see a pretty girl across the room, the first tihing you notice is her good looks. So you head her way and strike up a conversation. Weeks pass and you notice she isn't quite the person you would like to spend the rest of your life with but you stay with her. Why is that? Is it because she is gorgeous and want to show her off? I think that is so wrong. Not only are you hurting yourself but you are leading your partner under false feelings. I understand that went up to that person because she is attractive and thought she could be a good person but looks can be deceiving.
I'm starting to believe that there is no such thing as love at first sight; mostly because I know that you can't fall in love with someone who you know ABSOLUTELY nothing about. Its their looks that reel you in. I understand that in whatever you are into, opposite/same sex, material things etc, you always see their attractiveness and then you get to know what they are like.
Another thing that bothers is that men won't give us regular(by that I mean looks)girls a glance because it could ruin their reputation. I hate the whole ladies' man title(no offence Chris Nuñez) for the fact that they are expected to hook up with the most attractive women and can be ridicle with seen with an average jane.
The point to this post is to see why is it men don't go up to nice and decent looking women and chat up with them, then just going all crazy for those supermodel type women(I am 'friends' with those types so I have nothing against them).
This is not a self-pity blog, it is to make a point and see if it is true.
